ZIG Inspector (“the App”) is developed and operated by ZED Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when users (“you”) use the ZIG Inspector app.

The ZIG Inspector app is designed for authorized field staff and inspectors to scan and validate tickets at venues and transit locations.

We collect only the information necessary to provide this functionality:

• Ticket Data: Ticket IDs, QR codes, or barcodes scanned for validation.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and app version (for security and performance purposes).
• User Account Data: Limited staff credentials required for login and access.

The app does not collect personal data from passengers or store sensitive information such as payment details.

2. How We Use the Information

• Validate tickets and confirm authenticity.
• Sync ticket status with the ZIG platform.
• Improve app reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain system security and prevent misuse.

3. Data Storage and Security

• All communication between the app and servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
• Data is stored securely in the ZIG system and accessed only by authorized personnel.
• No ticket or personal data is shared with third parties for marketing or analytics.

4. Camera Access

Camera: Required solely to scan QR or barcode tickets. Camera access is used only for this purpose and never shared externally.

5. Data Retention

Scanned ticket data and inspection logs are retained only for as long as required for operational or compliance purposes. After that, the data is securely deleted.

6. Third-Party Services

The app may interact only with the ZIG backend system. No external analytics or advertising SDKs are integrated.

7. Your Rights

If you are an authorized user, you may request to:

• Revoke app permissions (e.g., camera) through device settings.
• Contact your system administrator or ZED Digital support for such requests.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected in the app or at the URL provided in App Store Connect.
